Instructors in Training - Leadership Development Program
If you have been to Beach Camp before and are entering your sophomore, junior or senior year in high school, you are eligible for the Beach Camp Instructor in Training Leadership Development Program.
IIT students develop their leadership and organizational skills by working along side Beach Camp instructors to plan, improve and implement the Beach Camp programs and activities. IIT students receive a certificate of completion and become eligible for junior counselor postitions with no Beach Camp tuition.
Under supervision of Beach Camp staff, IIT students and Junior Counslers have access to the facility on summer weekends and are eligible to become Beach Camp staff when full or part time paid positions become available. Beach Camp does not hire from the general population so the IIT - Junior Counsler program is the only route to a future position on the Beach Camp staff.
The number of IIT positions for each Beach Camp week are limited so contact Beach Camp directly for information on IIT position availability for each Beach Camp week.
